After a trip to Gairloch Museum we walked out to see this view of stormy skies over the Minch towards Skye and had to try and record it. It’s 30 minutes of a static view, a bit like a digital window of the grass moving through the wind and the storm clouds over the sea beyond.
Full disclosure – we weren’t sure whether to share this one because it was next to a road so we had to edit some of the car noises out. For us that felt like a compromise to the authenticity of the field recording but we decided the view was too beautiful not to share and the car noise was a distraction.
Hope you enjoy the scene as much as we did.
