By the time we had walked along the coast path for a while, it was starting to clear and the sun started to appear in between the clouds. Further around the headland there\u2019s a colony, and from where we sat we watched many of them playing in the water below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also saw the usual gulls, heard oystercatchers, and noticed several very busy smaller birds flitting through the grasses, which I couldn\u2019t quite identify. We initially planned to go to the one between Gwythian beach and Godrevy Head but it was too busy so we drove along the coast towards Portreath and parked at North Cliffs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019d like to spend half an hour with the scene, the full video is below.
