We\u2019ve just come back from a week in Weymouth, staying in a house right beside the harbour. It was February, so the weather was as changeable as you\u2019d expect, a mix of moody skies, hazy sunshine and the occasional strong wind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we were there, we managed to capture a few sound and video recordings around the harbour, along the stone pier during a stormy spell, and on a brighter day we headed over to nearby Chesil Beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Weymouth looks especially pretty at night. We arrived on Valentine\u2019s Day and I loved spotting a yacht in the harbour lit up with a glowing heart on its mast, such a simple touch, but really glad they made the effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One morning brought high tide and strong winds. The usual dog walk to the end of the stone pier felt a little too adventurous so instead we grabbed the tripod and zoom recorder and set up to film the waves from a safer spot. The sea crashing over the pier made for dramatic footage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
